Our Trash club co-founder Neil is making a quick late run for sponsorship to compete in the 2024 Cue School at the Mattioli Arena in Leicester, where four 2-year tour cards are up for grabs to compete on the professional snooker tour.
A bit like when Marvin Gaye decided he was going to join the Detroit Lions, over the past few years Neil has achieved a practice standard in line with what it takes to be competitive at the level, regularly achieving breaks in the hundreds and on a number of recent occasions going close to snooker’s holy grail of a 147. To properly set expectations, there is much improvement to be made to reach the highest level, but the potential is currently there to reach the platform where this can be achieved.
The event takes place from May 20th to July 2nd, with the deadline for entry being at noon on April 24th. Up to four shirt logo patches are available from £200 per logo, with sponsorship money going towards the £800 tournament entry fee.
