A sister club to Trash focused on the dark 80s, synth-pop and the remnants of disco, DREAMHOUSE had its valleys launch at Smokies in Gelli on Easter Sunday. Previously resident at The Fiddlers Elbow in Camden, the night embraces the enduring gothic glam and aesthetic of the time, peppering the dancefloor with hits from aesthetic of the time, peppering the dancefloor with hits from Siouxsie and the Banshees to Joy Division, Soft Cell and The Cure to Cyndi Lauper and The Cramps, Duran Duran to Depeche Mode, David Bowie to the Bronski Beat and Kate Bush, Heaven 17 to the Human League, Yazoo to Erasure and the Eurythmics, OMD to New Order – all things dark and beautiful, daring and exuberant, in the spirit of tainted love.
